Teton County COVID19 Outreach & education campaign

PROJECT PARTNERS: Teton County, Idaho; Local Community Leaders

PURPOSE: Reduce transmission, hospitalizations and deaths from the COVID 19 pandemic, update residents & visitors on regional pandemic management, case levels, immunization & safety information.

RESULTS: The “Dare to Care” campaign included a variety of print, digital and social media channels, email, radio, original content and signage. Teton County unfortunately lost 9 community members, but should have lost a sobering 37 community members, based on the national mortality rate by population, tracked by John Hopkins University.

This campaign was recognized with the following awards:

Idaho Press Club, Best of 2020, Public Service Campaign, 2nd Place.
